Show Us Where You Live Friday: Laundry Room & Hallway

It’s Friday again (almost anyway!) and time for another peek inside our home! I love touring around other bloggers’ homes. There are a lot of ideas to be gathered from these tours! I’m getting excited about working more on decorating my “little bit of paradise” here on earth!

Since I have my degree in Interior Design and worked for 3 years in the industry, you would think that my house would be perfectly decorated, but it’s not. I readily admit that. My priorities have been different…kinda like having a baby, learning to be a competent housewife, learning to be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I’m just now starting to feel like I m-i-g-h-t have a handle on this…enough anyway, to put another “iron in the fire.” I’m decorating for clients on the side and I often feel kind of neglectful of them. So my own house has been on the back burner in the process, but I’ve been learning to decorate my home with love, grace, hope, joy and much happiness. After all, the “stuff” is all going to fade away and I want my hubby and son to remember me for these awesome qualities, not for being obsessed with “things” or perfection. I’ve digressed badly…sorry!!

On to the laundry room!

I seriously need to get a larger laundry basket!! I also keep my toolbox here.

Laundry organizer! Makes throwing in a load so easy!!
