Metallic Holiday Tablescape

by Myra Hope

Good morning, sweet friends! I’m SO excited to show you my Metallic Holiday Tablescape today! I love mixing neutral colors, various metallic tones and differing textures in my decor. I also adore creating tablescapes, so I jumped at the opportunity when Wayfair invited me to participate in their Holiday Tablescape Challenge. I had so much fun with this project!

We ate breakfast here yesterday. It was so fun!

The foundation for this tablescape is a white tablecloth with my a vintage, gold lace tablecloth on top. This tablecloth was a wedding gift and it is one of my favorite treasures.

I added a square gold charger at each place. I love the square shape…especially under my round white {cheap} plates. I love mixing and matching, so I used two different cloth napkin patterns. The hammered brass napkin rings are a yard sale find from a year ago!

I created a simple centerpiece with two mercury glass candle holders, candles and a beaded vase filled with sticks that I glittered up with glitter spray paint and sparkly pumpkins and gourds that I’ve had for several years. I know that the sticks might be a little weird, but I like how they add a quirky, rustic vibe.

Pretty.

I am head-over-heels for this soft, understated color palette.

I think everything is so elegant!

I love this silver metallic {and food safe} tray. It is perfect for serving bread or dessert.  For my tablescape, I just added a few mirrored gold leaf ornaments with votive candles on top. The contrasting metallics are stunning together.

More pretty stuff. :)

My sweet babysitter helped me put together this tablescape. She whipped up some Cranberry Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies to add to the tiered stand. Yum!

I wish I could have each of you over for a fun, elegant brunch. My hubby and 3 year old and I had so much fun eating our bacon and eggs here on Sunday morning. :)

Layering and mixing various metallic tones and textures is key to creating a lovely, holiday tablescape! With just a few tweaks here and there, this tablescape is perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s! I love saving money by creating versatile decor!

Below are the Wayfair items I used. Everything else I already had on hand.

Chargers | Goblet Vase | Tiered Stand | Gold Ornaments | Silver Platter

Absolutely stunning! I love the mix of metallics, especially since these are more muted than shiny. I don’t think the sticks are weird – I like adding nature wherever possible…it’s the perfect accessory!

Sooo pretty Myra! I love those Target napkins — I picked up the tableclothes a month ago for a potential drape project. ;)

Very pretty! I don’t have enough “stuff” to make tables capes. I do love to make seasonal center pieces for dinning room table. I really enjoy looking at all of the tables scapes in blog land. Thnk you for sharing.

Oh my this is gorgeous! I love how you just whipped it up and how sweet to enjoy it with your family. How fun…I am looking forward to decortaing mine for thanksgiving! I had 2 napkins that I could only find 2 and never thought to match ‘em with different ones. So my hunt is one for 3 more napkins! Thanks for your ideas and inspiration!

A zillion things home? That sounds like your kind of site–and mine! I’ll have to check Wayfair out.

You’ve created an absolutely beautiful tablescape. I know you must treasure that tablecloth; it’s so lovely. You did a really good job of mixing things here–old and new, rustic and glamorous. A really great combination!

I love your tablescape! Where did you find your square chargers? I’m a young mom and wife just getting the hang of running my own house, and I love the idea of having a tables cape for every season. I just need to figure out how to do it on a dime…
