8 Fantastic Gift Ideas For A Husband-To-Be

by Myra Hope

Have you ever been at a complete loss for what gift to buy a groom-to-be? I’m raising my hand. Let’s be honest, most wedding gifts are for the bride or for the home with towels, plates, flatware and more. Oftentimes, the groom is forgotten. To help solve this dilemma, The Home Depot and I have partnered together to bring you the best gift ideas for a handy groom-to-be.

My friend, Joseph, is getting married in the Spring, so we met at The Home Depot for a walk through to find the best gifts for him. A very helpful lady named Patty took us through and showed us all the important things Joseph would need for his toolbox.

Patty showed us the Ryobi One+ system. It is incredible! The Ryobi ONE+ system offers more versatility, value and performance for DIYers and pros on a budget. The Home Depot has over 50 Ryobi products that are compatible with the ONE+ system. Drills, saws, outdoor power tools, and other types of tools all use the ONE+ {Lithium Ion} batteries.  Lithium Ion batteries are light, allowing for smaller, more powerful outdoor and power tools. An amazing thing for DIYers!

The Lithium Ion batteries produce a consistent charge throughout the life of the battery, can be charged many more times than other batteries and are not damaged by leaving the charger on too long. I am thrilled about cordless power tools! Booyah!

We also checked out the RYOBI 18V ONE+ Lithium Ion Compact Drill Kit which features the latest in power tool technology. Weighing less than three pounds, the RYOBI One+ Compact Drill Kit is easy for husbands of any strength or skill level to use.

Y’all. I think I need one of everything! :)

Here are our top 8 picks for husbands-to-be {and any DIYer for that matter!}:

The Home Depot partnered with bloggers such as me to help promote their Lithium Ion power tool collection. As part of this promotion, I received compensation for my time. They did not tell me what to purchase or what to say about the products. The Home Depot believes that consumers and bloggers are free to form their own opinions and share them in their own words. The Home Depot’s policies align with WOMMA Ethics Code, FTC guidelines and social media engagement recommendations. The giveaway winner will be chosen by random and prize fulfillment will be handled by a third party.

This is actually a great idea. When you’re the family or friend of the groom, it’s cool to think of giving the couple something that is a bit more of the kind of the thing the husband will use a lot. Of course, wives will use the tools, too, but these would be gifts that the fellows would particularly enjoy receiving, I think. Does Home offer a gift registry service?

Myra – I think the url for the Home Depot facebook page is wrong – rafflecopter is not bringing up their page.

Thanks for this great giveaway! Bought our first Ryobi tool this spring – a cordless/gas-less weed eater – LOVE it!
