To All Who Are Weary…
Happy Sunday, y’all! I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed in the last few days, so when I saw this wonderful verse shared on Facebook, I just had to pass it on to you here on the blog.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
I’m trusting these words today for my weary soul…rest.

“For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”.
I have this verse printed out & stuck on the mirror in my bathroom. I look at it every morning as I face another day of mothering, working outside our home and trying to be a good wife. Sometimes I am very weary but I know that God never gives me more than I can bear because He loves me, and if He does I know that I can give it back to Him.
I hope that you find rest for your weariness.

Thank you Myra for these beautiful and soothing words…
I’m feeling weary, too, It’s the end of the schoolyear here in France and for us teachers the last days always seem to be the longest, I wonder why?
I keep praying for you and your familly, awaiting for your babyboy’s birth as if we were close friends 🙂

I have been so weary (and praying hard) the past months with my husbands diagnosis of early onset alzheimer’s and the long list of household projects that i knew i couldn’t do on my own….God gave me rest by sending not only my sister, and sister-in-law but a group from Bossier Louisiana who came into town for missions work. We are truly blessed and now my soul can rest because they took care of numerous projects!! God is so good!!
My heart needed this too my friend. So thankful He comes to rescue my weary heart with His rest.

Amen.
Beautiful. Weary seems to be affecting everyone. I am just home from 10 weeks of caring for my mom who is recovering from a stroke. You are a blessing to me today and I thank God for you.
