Be Still…

This verse from Psalms is one of my very favorites. It’s easy to be anxious and worried about SO many different things in our crazy lives, but what a great reminder to stop and be still…

And remember Who is in control.

Won’t you join me in “being still” today? 🙂

  1. Thank you for this. I am sitting in a waiting room waiting while my son is in surgery. I rushed to get here and was feeling very anxious when I puled out my laptop. You are right, I know who is REALLY in charge – of my son, of the doctors, of me. I will now sit here and be still. Thank you!

  2. this too is one of my favorite verses. it’s so easy to get crazy outwardly and inwardly, isn’t it? i often pray for Him to still my inner being and cause me to know subjectively that HE IS GOD.

  3. I found your blog yesterday but didn’t get this far until today. And boy oh boy do things happen for a reason. I’m having what I consider to be the worse morning ever where things don’t seem to be going well at all (I’m on your blog for a ‘pick me up’). To me this is God telling me “Whoa kid slow your row — I got this.” Thanks so much for posting it I really needed to be reminded that I am not the one in control.
