Puppy Love & Flower Power

by Myra on July 13, 2010

No. I’m not reverting to immature romance slathered with Lisa Frank stickers.  {Please tell me that you do know what Lisa Frank stickers look like.  Am I revealing my age?}

I captured these photos on two different visits to the farm.  I love hearing the crickets chirp and the wind in the leaves.  Seeing God’s creation renews my heart and floods my senses with His greatness.

Puppy Love – This cutie is enjoying a “rib” leftover from a July 4th BBQ.

Flower Power – Memaw’s Tiger Lily.

Isn’t the detail to die for?!  Amazing!

Flower Power – My Mom’s Hydrangea

You have no idea how close I came to snipping this beauty for my table!

Happy Wednesday!

The puppy is so adorable!! It looks like a Border Collie. We have one of those!! Love the detail in the flowers. I’ve just recently gotten back into photography and have enjoyed taking pics of flowers.

Gorgeous photos! Yes, I certainly do remember Lisa Frank stickers and products. They tried to make a comeback a few years back. I saw some in my classroom when I was teaching.

I was all about Lisa Frank… I bet I can still find one of those bright colored folders somewhere stashed in a box that came from my childhood bedroom.

Sometimes, when I get in trouble, the puppy and I share opposite ends of the same rib bone in the doghouse. :)

Wow… those pictures are precious! I love that orange flower. You’re right. The detail is fantastic.

Hi, I was looking for something else and discovered this post. What gorgeous flowers! My senior mom loves gardening and I’ll definitely have to share these with her. She mostly does a few vegetables using her garden wagons and, perhaps, a Rubbermaid garden cart, nowadays but she enjoys it thoroughly and also loves to see others’ lovely flowers, like these. And by the by, you’ll be happy to know that not only do I know and love Lisa Frank stickers, my kids do AND my grandkids do – it’s a fun tradition to share, isn’t it. :)
