Freezer Cooking Daze

Photobucket

It’s that time again! Time for some bulk cooking!  I love being able to go to the freezer for a snack or meal starter. I’m not undertaking too much this time because I’m super busy trying to stay on top of the housework, taking care of a very busy one year old, working out, getting ready for Blissdom and on and on.  Oh, and I have a huge interior design job that I’m working on as well!

Here is my plan:

I will be bagging to freeze all of this except the granola!  I’ll keep you posted on how everything goes!

Looks like a good plan.. I’m going to start tomorrow, if all goes well, and do mostly baking since I still have plenty from the December #oamc. I may freeze a few pizza dough batches too. I haven’t done that yet. I found a really good 15 minute one which I tested out last week. It didn’t take long but will try it frozen too.

  2. Great list! I have made all of those ahead at one time or another, except pizza dough. What do you DO with it once you make the dough? I usually just through the ingredients in the bread machine if I decide to make pizza for dinner, and then I bake the pizza on a 9×14 pan. I would think round pans would be easier for the freeze-ahead type of dough, right?

  3. Myra, I was wondering how you go about storing them to freeze. I tried to do some bulk cooking and froze them in ziplock bags and they got freezer burned really quickly. I also froze glass…which broke in the freezer. What would you suggest?
