A Blog Par-tay!

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you are here! I love parties and meeting new people! You can read more about me in my “About Me” section on my sidebar. Isn’t that clever?! Ha!
I love to blog. I started blogging this past March and I have met the most wonderful people. Blogging truly gives me a sense of community and friendship. If I need an answer to a question about babies, parenting or motherhood, I can always get it from a bloggy friend!

Okay, on to the good stuff…
1. What is your favorite thing to snack on while you’re blogging? I don’t usually snack while I’m blogging. My fingers are too busy. But if I did, I would probably have fruit or cheese.
2. What is one thing you wouldn’t want to live without? Normally, I would say my eyeliner (yes, vain, I know!), but at this time in my life…


3. Beach, Mountains or Farm? Where would you live if you had a choice? Just where I live now. In the foothills of the Appalachaian Mountains. I love North Alabama!

4. What’s your least favorite chore/household duty? My sister is gonna laugh because she knows exactly my weaknesses: Folding laundry and doing my dishes. Ha!

5. Who do people say you remind them of? Many people have told me that I look like Audrey Hepburn.

Any resemblance?

6. Prefer parties and socializing or staying at home with the fam? If parties involve my family and friends then I love that. I love being at home with “my guys” too!

7. What’s your all time favorite movie? Fireproof. It impacted my husband and I in the most incredible way.

8. Do you sleep in your make up or remove it like a good girl every night? Until I got pregnant, I always washed it off at night, then I either got lazy or just crashed in bed from exhaustion. I do have an occasional thought like,”I hope I’m not ruining my skin.”

9. Do you have a hidden talent or a deep desire to learn something that you’ve never had a chance to learn? What is it? It’s not really hidden, but I love interior design and event planning. I can’t think of anything that I’m just dying to learn to do…

10. What’s one strange thing you’re really good at? Can’t think of anything…

11. What first attracted you to your spouse? Must have been his cute little Boy Scout outfit because I first saw him and knew he was the one when I was 9 years old.

12. What is something you love to smell? Pumpkin Spice candles burning

13. Tell something about you that you know irritates people. Probably (only at times, I hope) my strong personality and bluntness. It can be a positive quality, I promise! ha!

14. When you have extra money (HA!) what’s the first thing you think to do with it? Giving it to others. I love to bless those in need. The reward is always exponentially greater than the gift.

15. Are you a silent laugher or a loud laugher? What makes you laugh the hardest? Oh my word, I probably have the loudest (most obnoxious? please tell me no!) laugh ever. And Prince Charming definitely makes me laugh the hardest.

16. Where is your favorite place to shop? Yard sales, Thrift stores and TJ Maxx!

17. What’s one thing you’d do more often if you had more time? The dishes. See # 4!

18. Are you a big spender or frugal? Can I say both? I love being frugal and getting good deals, but I do like to spend money too. Like the $99 pair of boots I got on Saturday, I paid $66 after the sale and a coupon. Is that frugal? 🙂

19. Who is your favorite character of all time (from a movie or book)? (Can’t be real) Definitely Anne Shirley. I see myself in her every time I watch the “Anne” movies.

20. Would you want to be famous? Nope, I’m happy being me. I just want to be “famous” to my family.

    I too LOVE to be frugal. COming home with a great deal always makes the item more "coveted" to me.

    I LOVE the smell of Pumpkin spice candles. I just bought a caramel apple candle at hobby lobby today 🙂
