I’m so happy to be participating in “Show Us Where You Live Friday” with Kelly at KellysKornerBlog! This week we are touring each other’s living rooms. We have been in our home for almost a year. This is one of my favorite rooms! I still need to make curtains and we need to get some rugs…and wall stuff. Anyway, come on in and stay a while! Can I get you some lemonade?
The fireplace…doesn’t it look cozy? The painting above the mantel was my grandmothers. I’m so thankful to have it in my home!
I love the fabric, style and comfort of this chair! The red lamp is incredibly sentimental! I found it at an estate sale that my boss and I were organizing during my interior design internship in college. She got it for me, replaced the shade and surprised me with it on my last day. It has been in my college dorm room, and now 3 houses that we have lived in!
*Note: the stacked chairs around the piano are for when we have young people over and other various activities when we need more seating. It’s fun!
