Choosing to Rely

My heart is so overwhelmed at this moment. There are SO many uncertainties in life. So many questions, so much to try to figure out, so many different angles from which to look at situations. How do we make right decisions? How do we think through each aspect of each situation and the results of each? Among financial, personal, familial and national uncertainties, instead of wavering, questioning and “spazzing out”, I choose to rely on my sovereign God who knows the end from the beginning.

He is my everlasting God and He says in His Word, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,…thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

How can we not rejoice in the certainties that God gives to us?! Won’t you join me in refusing to worry and in choosing to rely wholeheartedly on God?!

  1. Thanks for welcoming me to the blog world! I live in NW Alabama. Congratualtions on joining the best, hardest, most wonderful work place in the world. I have been a SAHM for 4 years and have this prayer taped to my bathroom mirror: Lord, meet me today at me point of greatest need. It has gotten me through a lot of tough days with my husband and our boys! I didn’t have time to read alot on your blog but I will check back later.
