Super Savings Saturday

by Myra on March 14, 2009

Here’s what I did for the week.

I completely blew my diaper budget (separate from groceries) this week, but after taking inventory of how many diapers I have, it’s ok. I just counted 6 pkgs size 1, 5 pkgs size 2 and 3 pkgs size 3! That is after I gave 3 pkgs away to a family with a brand new baby girl! I won’t need to buy diapers for a LONG time! :) See this post.

I used about 10.00 from my hospitality budget this week. My husband and I agree that it is good to have a budget specifically for taking meals to friends, having friends over etc. It is very important to us to be hospitable and well…especially in the South, visits center around food! Our hospitality budget is 40.00/month.

On to groceries…

Hi Myra,

Don’t you love the Walgreen’s Diaper deal? I went and got that today with 2 of the Huggies 5 off coupons, paid $6 OOP and used the $10 RR to buy my Milk and Eggs for the week!
