Where Have I Been?

I’m back!  Did you miss me?  You might have noticed my lack of “presence” this past week. I hope you enjoyed the three fabulous guest posts this past week!  I’m planning on responding to all my e-mails and comments soon. 🙂  I truly missed you all.  Also, don’t forget about the Marie-Madeline Studio giveaway!

I was out of the country in Toronto, Canada!  My family and I traveled (drove) and enjoyed a week away.  We did a lot of sightseeing and catching up with friends.  It was a wonderful time!

We got home yesterday and my to-do list is five miles long…or maybe six.

But I’ve just got to share a few pictures with you!  Picture overload coming up…

We went to the Toronto Zoo. Ridley loved waving at the animals. It was so cute!

On Thursday we visited CasaLoma – a castle in downtown Toronto. It was built in the early 1900s. I’ll be sharing some architectural deliciousness on Wednesday!

We also toured the CN Tower which is the tallest tower in the world. It was awesome!

On Friday we met up with friends at Pickle Barrel for lunch. The food was delicious and the conversation delightful!

  1. Aw, when I lived in upstate NY as a young child, we went to Toronto every single Easter! Such sweet memories! (And my siblings and I and all our kids took my parents to Niagara Falls two years ago for their 40th wedding anniversary… big family trips are SO special!) Glad to have you back. 🙂

  2. Yes we missed you!! And yes, I have been to Canada once. I don’t remember any of it except crossing the border and a little bit of Niagra Falls. The reason I remember crossing the border so vividly was because we went by car, it was dark, I was woken from a deep sleep to mom and dad “getting the money ready” – I don’t know if there was a fee or if they were going to exchange currency- but in my sleep stupor I thought for sure we were crossing the border illegally and I thought we were about to get arrested LOL

  3. Looks like you guys had a great time ~ so fun! Yes, I have been to Canada several times and I love it. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Victoria, BC. It was so beautiful – I would love to go back sometime with our 7 yr old son. Glad you are back!
