Natural Holiday Decor

It’s hard to believe that November is halfway gone and the holidays are quickly approaching! I love decorating for the holidays. Who doesn’t, right? Festivities, parties and giving {and watching Ridley’s face light up} inspire me to cozy up our home for this special time of year.

One of my favorite ways to prepare our home for the holidays is to bring a bit of the outdoors in. It’s hard to beat the beauty, frugality and style of nature. Since temperatures are cooling, bugs, hopefully, aren’t living on the natural beauty that I want to use in our home.

  1. Hi Myra,

A few posts ago you wrote about your virtual baby shower. I just pulled a bunch of stuff out of storage to sell on Craigslist but I would love to send it to you as a donation instead! What perfect timing on my sorting through/deciding to part with things and your virtual shower! Please let me know where I can send the items when you get a chance!

  2. I think submitted a comment about donating to your virtual baby shower but I don’t see it here yet and I needed to add that my e-mail I use most actively is shelley.fronczek@hotmail.com

(In case my first comment is lost in cyberspace, I have some items I would love to be able to donate to this cause! Just let me know where to send them!)

  3. Hi Myra! Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. I enjoy reading your blog and following. I can’t wait to see what you do with puffy paint too! I love going out into my yard to look for twigs and pine cones to use as vase fillers for the holidays.

  4. I aggressively prune every evergreen bush and tree in my yard the last weekend in November (whether they need it or not). We use artificial Christmas trees, but I must have that freshly cut evergreen smell inside my house!
