13 Must-Have Travel Essentials

/

Happy Friday, lovely people! I hope you had a great week. Mine was busy, but I am so excited that my husband is off today. We are whisking the boys away for a day at the aquarium and whatever other fun stuff we can get into. 🙂

Y’all know I love my Young Living essential oils, right? So I thought it would be fun to share my favorite essential oils and other products that are my must-haves for traveling. 🙂 Whether flying or driving to a destination, these help keep my family and me sane, calm and healthy.

1.  Peppermint

I inhaled Peppermint on the bumpiest plane ride in history and I felt all-around much more peaceful. It was truly miraculous.

2. Thieves essential oil & other Thieves products

Y’all know Thieves is incredible. Also, the Thieves hand purifier, spray, and lozenges will always be with me when I’m on the road or in the air. The hand purifier is fantastic for potty breaks. The spray is great for toilet seats. And the lozenges are good anytime.

3. Purification

If there are any bad odors {I’m a mom of BOYS! Ahem.} in the car or in your hotel room, Purification is your BFF. Trust me on this. It will give your area a great-smelling boost.

4. Valor

I am REALLY not a fan of flying. Valor on my wrists and behind my ears not only makes me smell nice, but it’s very calming for me.

5. Joy

Along the same lines as Valor, a drop of Joy over my heart is calming for me and helps me to enjoy the ride. I have been known to inhale Joy and Valor straight from the bottles.

6. Peace & Calming

Who doesn’t need a little chill pill? Peace & Calming is that for me. No matter what’s on my mind (getting everything in the car to leave on time or missing a flight), Peace & Calming is my go-to. A drop or two on my shoulders does the trick. Peace & Calming is also a bedtime must-have for our children.

7. Di-Gize Vitality

I will never be without Di-Gize Vitality. It supports a normal, healthy digestive system. It’s a little smelly to some, but we love it.

8. Lemon Vitality

I use Lemon Vitality essential oil in my glass water bottle all. the. time. Seriously! Even if you’re flying, you can take an empty water bottle in your carry on. I usually buy bottled water after I’m through security to fill up my glass bottle.

9.  Lavender

Lavender is wonderfully relaxing. It’s great for kids too.

10. NingXia Red

Last, but definitely not least, I don’t go anywhere without my NingXia Red. I purchase packets of NR that are perfect for on-the-go. NingXia Red is an incredible whole-body supplement. Just one ounce a day can make a huge impact on your overall wellness!

I hope this information has been helpful! I have more traveling than normal on the schedule this year, so I will be keeping good stock of these oils and other products for my adventures.

A lot of the oils I mentioned are available in the Premium Starter Kit along with other awesome oils. And you get two sample packs of the NingXia Red in the kit too. 🙂 You can find out more details here and check out all my essential oils posts too!

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Hi Myra,

May I ask how can I use Lemon EO to keep ears unclogged during flights? apply behind the ears or inhale?

    Many Thanks,
    Carol
