/

Happy Friday, lovely friends! I’m so excited to continue sharing my favorite essential oils with you! I’ve written about 10 Amazing Uses for Lemon and Purification. Today, it’s all about Peppermint essential oil! 🙂

Peppermint is an incredible oil that has many, many uses. Peppermint is one of the oldest herbs for soothing digestion issues. Peppermint tea is very popular, but surprisingly one single drop of peppermint oil has the same health benefits as drinking 28 cups of Peppermint tea. Who in the world wants to drink that much peppermint tea? Ha!

Peppermint Vitality, part of Young Living’s Vitality line for culinary and dietary use, is a versatile oil with a well-loved flavor!

Below are some of the ways that I use peppermint essential oil…

10 Amazing Uses for Peppermint Vitality Essential Oil

1. Take a few drops in a capsule to support healthy gut function and digestive efficiency. When I feel like I might have eaten a bit too much, Peppermint vitality is SO helpful for my tummy!

2. Stay satisfied with a drop of peppermint in a glass of water.

3. Have a great sustained workout by taking a few drops of Peppermint Vitality internally beforehand.

4. Keep this oil handy during the summertime to add to a refreshing, cooling beverage.

5. Place a drop on the tongue, press to the roof of the mouth and breathe deeply to open the sinuses.

6. Add a few drops to a protein shake or smoothie!

7. Freshen breath with a drop on the tongue.

8. Flavors food {peppermint brownies, candy, ice cream etc}

  1. When I get bloated I either go for the peppermint or go for the ginger. I just love peppermint tea so much more, though. Its so…refreshing and energizing! It lasts forever, too, since all it really takes is a drop or 2 if you buy a good brand.
