20 4th of July Dessert Recipes

/

Happy Wednesday! With the 4th of July right around the corner, I figured it was time to start talking 4th of July Dessert Recipes. We always get together with family {as well as with our church} for a picnic, so patriotic desserts are a must. We always have watermelon {see below for some cute ideas for the kids!} and usually a cobbler. There’s always a 4th of July dessert with strawberries and blueberries too. I love using the natural colors of fruit rather than artificial dyes. Are you ready to get your drool on? *wink

  1. These all look so yummy. I love all the berries. I don’t have a specific dessert I make for the 4th of July, but it is my birthday too so my Mom usually makes me a dessert. I get to make a request each year. My top three picks are marionberry pie (marionberries are a local variety of bramble berry that rivals all others), a chocolate mousse pie, and a raspberry glace pie it is a lot like your strawberry pie (similar recipe on my site called strawberry glace pie, but it contains a creamy layer between the berries and the crust, you can make the raspberry glace with the same recipe. I think I will try the watermelon and blue berry skewers with my kids as a patterning activity. So cute and such a good to add to out summer activities.
