Broiled Tomatoes Recipe

/

I’ve been on a tomato kick lately. It seems like I just can’t get enough of them. Maybe I just need the extra vitamin C! I’ve loved broiled tomatoes ever since I had them for the first time at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse several years ago. Yummo! I recently came up with my own version. This delicious broiled tomatoes recipe fits into the Whole30 plan, so it’s on my menu as much as possible!

  1. I’m with you on the tomatoes, Myra! I could eat tomatoes every day. I love broiled tomatoes, but I’ve never added garlic and rosemary to them. I’ll have to try this! (One of my favorite things about an English breakfast is that they serve broiled tomatoes (to-mah-toes!) alongside eggs and a rasher of bacon. Yum!)

    1. Hello Myra.
I read you from Spain and here we have something called “gazpacho” which is basically a cold soup with tomato, cucumber and green pepper seasoned with salt, vinegar, olive oil and a tiny bit of garlic. It may sound weird but it’s deliciuos and really healthy!

  2. I’ve never broiled any vegetables – crazy I know – but this looks so delicious I’m going to have to dig out the broiling pan and try it. Yumm! Our favorite tomato dish is home made tomato soup. 😀 Thank you for sharing.

  3. have you had any luck with sun dried tomatoes in the oven? i’m searching for more ways to use up all these garden tomatoes! oh, and a wonderful site i’ve found for recipes that support whole30 is nomnompaleo.com. I don’t think there has been a recipe yet that we haven’t enjoyed!

  4. I love broiled tomatoes too. I can’t wait for gardening season to start again.
    Your photos are gorgeous.
