Host A Chex Mix Party

I love a reason to get together with friends. I love the planning, the decorating, the executing and those sweet, wonderful friend conversations. Recently,  I hosted a Chex Party Mix-change for my church friends.  The Chex Mix-change is a new twist on the cookie exchange.  So fun!

We had 14 different variations of Chex mix. Seriously!!

Even Loaded Baked Potato Chex Mix!

I made a bunch of cute party food labels {tutorial here} for each Chex Mix variety!

The Pumpkin Pie Chex Mix is my favorite. I will definitely be making more for the holidays! The recipe calls for Wheat Chex, but I just used an extra cup of Cinnamon Chex and Honey Nut Chex to substitute.

I bought a pack of cute Fall plates from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon.

Everyone brought their recipes and I had a pack of index cards and pens, so recipes could be exchanged as well.

Conversations were riveting.  🙂

We tasted, divided and laughed. Oh, how we laughed!

We used sandwich bags as well as treat bags with ribbon to divide up the Chex mixes.

I brought along things to package and decorate.

How cute is this?!  We had so much fun!
