When I’m in a funky, grumpy mood usually I’m not thinking right. This verse encourages me to think about the right things and to tell those wrong thoughts to take a hike.

I love that verse, and it really is a valuable guide to follow. I know I too tend to be very negative in all thoughts and viewpoints, when I’m cranky. So, I try not to think or speak much, until the storm blows over. My family thanks me, when I do. ; )
