4th Of July Mantel

/ /

Okay, y’all, here’s my 4th of July mantel decor post that I promised yesterday! 🙂  On a whim I decided to freshen up my summer mantel {that was ripped apart twice for events} with red and other vintage, patriotic-ish items that I had on hand.

I adore my red lantern. It was silver until I attacked it with some red spray paint!

The “freedom” banner makes me proud!

I love the pops of red, aqua, whites and touches of yellow!

{three of my favorite colors}

This candle holder is a yard sale find for $1, if I remember correctly.  It works perfectly on the mantel for this season!

The flowers were left over from the adorable baby girl shower that I decorated for last weekend. Decorating with flowers on the mantel is fun and I love the “life” that they bring to this space!

Do you decorate for the 4th of July?

I’m linking up to Made By You Monday.

    1. Thanks Kat! That lantern is one of my favorite things. I just spray painted it red after thinking about it for weeks. 😀

    1. Thanks so much! 🙂 The lantern was silver and very bland. I’ve been thinking about painting it red for weeks. I’m so excited that I finally took the plunge! 🙂
