Friday Fails – Scratching My Brain

Photobucket

I’m not scratching my brain because it’s itching. But I am trying to figure out if it is possible that I actually had a week with no epic fails?

I’ve been wracking my brain for 24 hours trying to figure out something funny, sad or humorous that I failed at this week, but I’m thinking that this post will probably be plain ‘ole desperate. You’ve been warned.

  • There must be a connection between our internet failing to work for four days and my minimal failures this week.  Even though I experienced great GREAT frustration with trying to find internet that could handle my work load, it was a very peaceful and non-internet-controlled week. Thank you Lord.  Lesson learned – the internet and my laptop do not control me.
  • Miraculously, my kitchen sink and counters are completely clean, unlike last week.
  • There is a pile of laundry to fold, but it’s a p-i-l-e.  Not a m-o-u-n-t-a-i-n. {happy dance}
  • In all my “spare” time this week, I cleaned out the refrigerator and pantry which resulted in three garbage bags sitting by the back door. My sweet hubby waited until the bags were smelling and oozing green liquid on the floor to take them out. Did I mention that there were roaches enjoying the lovely green “soup” on the floor?  Major gross.
  • During our time in the pool this week, Ridley bit a hole in his floatie. {rolls eyes}  I think it can be fixed, but what used to be a cute crab floatie that he could sit in is now a flattened, deflated mess. Ha!

My brain is fully scratched.  Was that totally and completely lame?

Now it’s your turn – Tell me a fail that will make me laugh in agreement (or pity)!

  1. So my major fail this week has to do with moving. We currently rent a 3 bedroom trailer that is just too small for our family of 6, so we have been looking and have found a 3 bedroom house with much more space! So after the rental agreement was signed I sent my hubby to have the electricity turned on. The next day we thought we could do some laundry at the new house while we were unloading our load for the day! That is until I realized that I had forgotten that we needed to have the water turned on also! Major fail! No clean laundry meant having to search for clothes for the girls this morning! Hopefully today we will have water or else a trip to the laundry mat is in store for the weekend! Glad you had a week without fails!

  2. I finally was able to do a post and link up this week!! Glad you had a ‘fail-free’ week…..I had enough to make up for the both of us! lol
