I just snagged some Gymboree and Janie & Jack clothes for my little one at a thrift store on Saturday. I went in to donate 3 bags of clothes and came back out with 1 bag of clothes and board books!

I LOVE finding great deals! I pretty much only shop the clearance racks at stores, and that is if I have to go to the stores. Around here we have Mom2Mom sales, and I have scored a TON of great deals. I love that spring is coming (Yea! Yard Sales and Mom2Mom sales!) I just went to my first Mom sale of the year and got a pair of light blue cotton overalls with a sweater and shirt for my 1yr old son for $2. The outfit still had the tags on it and was $49.99 from Macy’s. Got a lot of other great deals too. Then went to Walmart that afternoon and found their heavy winter coats on clearance and picked one up for my son for next year for $5 (which included a bonus set of mittens and a hat). I am so excited for the spring sales. Oh, and yes, I do buy out of season. I get such amazing deals that if for some reason my son can’t wear it, I can resell it at a garage sale and get my money back for it!

I spent $50 on $150 worth of clothes for my baby at Macy’s a few weeks ago. I got jeans for $2.99!!! That is an awesome deal!
