Friday Fails – Mommy-Brain!

Photobucket

This week’s fail is quite mild compared to some I could share with you.  Seriously, there have been so many this week, that I just have to share this one or else you might think that there is something seriously wrong with me! Ha!  I won’t bother to mention that I’m days behind on my bible reading, but I’m SO catching up!  Ahem.

Ok, on to my fail…

When I walked into the kitchen this morning, I saw this:

Yeah, a big, fat fail!  I seriously burst into tears because I LOVE this casserole!  And I can’t believe that I’m so dumb or my “mommy-brain” is SO bad that I left it out all night on the counter.  What a dummy!  What a fail!

Is there hope for mommy-brain?  Maybe I should take ginkgo, isn’t that supposed to help with memory and brain function? Ha!

Come link up your fails posts! You’ll feel SO much better!

  1. I am also behind on my Bible reading! I am doing a year long plan though. I would be so much farther behind if I were on the 90 day plan like you! I considered the 90 day plan but realized I wouldn’t be able to do it just yet. Maybe next year!

    Good luck catching up!

  2. I hadn’t seen this meme before, but it looks fun. And yes, what a sad loss. But, it’s not something I haven’t done a ton. Does misery really love company?

  3. I have so done this… often I’ll walk back in the kitchen 3-4 hours later and think say thanks to God for bringing me back in the kitchen before I went to bed!

It’s always the worst when it’s something you love!

    1. @SnoWhite, So true! I’ve rescued my hub’s coffee creamer, that he habitually leaves on the counter, before I head to bed. I “try” to check the kitchen each night, but obviously I failed! HaHaHa!

    1. @Florence, Thanks for your sweet comment! I would love for you to join in on Friday Fails! It’s a blast! I hope that you’re having a good week!

    1. @Helen Joy, Girl, you made me feel so much better! Several weeks ago I washed the SAME load of laundry 3 times because I forgot about it and it soured! Eww! HaHa!

  4. I have experience any failures in everyday of my life just like you Myra.. In God’s sight we are not perfect actually, no one is perfect were just a human that every now and then commit mistakes.. Sometimes when I fail to do something first come to my mind is that “because I’m not perfect” maybe I have to establish more intimate relationship to the lord.. Anyway, your post are good reminders to all of us that everybody fails whatever it takes.. More Blessings (Hugs)..
